Friends of Falmouth Dogs is located at the Animal Control Center on Blacksmith Shop Road.

See Map

From Points North
Travel south on 28 (toward Palmer Ave. and downtown Falmouth). Exit at Brick Kiln Road. Turn east (LEFT, toward the High School). Immediately past the overpass and entrance to Rte. 28 North, take a LEFT onto Service Road (which turns into Blacksmith Shop Road). Go six-tenths of a mile, and turn LEFT again, where you see the Animal Control Center Friends of Falmouth Dogs sign. The Animal Control Center is the building on the right on top of the hill.

From Points East
From the Mashpee Rotary, take Rte. 151 toward Falmouth. Travel west on 151 about 4-5 miles, until you reach Sandwich Road, which is a large intersection with a traffic signal. Turn LEFT onto Sandwich Road. Continue another 3-4 miles, to the first traffic light, which is Brick Kiln Road. Turn RIGHT onto Brick Kiln Road. Go past the lights at Gifford Street. About 1 mile past Gifford St., take a RIGHT onto Service Road (which turns into Blacksmith Shop Road), which is the last right before the on-ramp for Rte. 28 North to Boston. Go six-tenths of a mile, and turn LEFT again, where you see the Animal Control Center Friends of Falmouth Dogs sign. The Animal Control Center is the building on the right on top of the hill.

From Points West
From 28A, turn east onto Brick Kiln Road. Go underneath 28 and take the first LEFT after the highway on- and off-ramps. This is Service Road (which turns into Blacksmith Shop Road). Go six-tenths of a mile, and turn LEFT again, where you see the Animal Control Center Friends of Falmouth Dogs sign. The Animal Control Center is the building on the right on top of the hill.

From Falmouth Center
Get onto Gifford Street going north: You can do this either by turning onto Gifford Street from Main Street (across from the fire station) or by turning onto Jones Road at the Stop & Shop traffic signal, then taking a RIGHT at the next traffic light, which is Gifford Street.

Follow Gifford out to the Brick Kiln Road traffic light. Turn LEFT. Go about 1 mile, then take a RIGHT onto Service Road (which turns into Blacksmith Shop Road), which is the last right turn before the on-ramp for Rte. 28 North to Boston. Go six-tenths of a mile, and turn LEFT again, where you see the Animal Control Center Friends of Falmouth Dogs sign. The Animal Control Center is the building on the right on top of the hill.

From Thomas B. Landers Road
The start of Blacksmith Shop Road is on the south side of Thomas B. Landers Road (between the Waste Management Facility and 28). Take Blacksmith Shop Road and travel 1.2 miles. There will be a sweeping curve with a wooden guard rail on the opposite side of the street. Near the end of the curve Blacksmith Shop Road will split off to the RIGHT (going straight the road becomes Locustfield Road and then Gifford Street). It will be a hard right turn. Continue for one mile on Blacksmith Shop Road. Our entrance will be on the RIGHT, just before a 90° turn in the road. The Animal Control Center is the building on the right on top of the hill.
