A Community United in Helping Local Dogs

Friends of Falmouth Dogs began in 1990 when a small group of dedicated residents came together to improve the lives of stray and abandoned dogs in Falmouth. In partnership with the Town of Falmouth, these volunteers provided care, advocacy, and support, a collaboration that remains central to our mission today. What started as a simple act of compassion has grown into a trusted, volunteer-led organization that has been in business for over 30 years.

Our mission is to rescue, care for, and responsibly rehome dogs while prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
