Volunteers are the backbone of Friends of Falmouth Dogs. As a fully volunteer-run nonprofit, we rely on community members who are willing to step in, pitch in, and help wherever help is needed. From daily care and enrichment to cleaning, organizing, and behind-the-scenes support, every effort plays a role in keeping our dogs safe, comfortable, and cared for while they wait for their forever homes. Whether the task is big or small, visible or behind the scenes, your time directly supports our dogs and the mission that makes this work possible.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Many Ways Volunteers Lend a Hand

Dog Walking and Enrichment
Help dogs get daily exercise, stimulation, and positive social interaction. This is one of our most important volunteer needs.
Shelter Care and Housekeeping
Assist with laundry, dishes, basic cleaning, and organization to keep the shelter running smoothly.
Donation Sorting and Supply Organization
Help sort donated items, prepare enrichment materials, and maintain a clean, accessible storage system.
Office and Administrative Support
Assist with basic office tasks, paperwork, or other administrative needs during volunteer hours.
Event Assistance
Support fundraising events, outreach efforts, and community activities that help promote our mission.
Special Skills
Photography, videography, tech support, printing, and other skills are always appreciated and can support our outreach efforts.
